From the TOP AI Sprint to Public-Sector AI Readiness

CloudRaven is introducing TrendSights through agency workshops that connect federal-data community research to a practical application pilot.

CloudRaven Labs has completed the 2026 TOP AI Sprint and is preparing for the October 23 showcase. The next phase centers on a practical question: how can public-sector teams use federal data and AI to produce research they can inspect, reuse, and build into useful agency applications?

Our path is an AI Readiness workshop, using TrendSights to connect a real community question to a bounded research workflow and a scoped pilot.

Begin with a real agency question

A program owner may need housing context, a researcher may need a cited community profile, or a service team may want to improve public records discovery. Start with that job, its audience, and the decision the work needs to support.

The workshop brings program owners, analysts, IT leaders, and data stewards together to define a use-case brief, identify candidate data, agree on review responsibilities, and scope a useful next step. Workshop format and scope are agreed during planning.

Use TrendSights as the research workbench

TrendSights brings guided scoping, Census source discovery, geographic context, and human review into the research workflow. Its current beta focuses on bounded Census descriptions. The first delivery milestone is a county or tract profile with clear sources and saved outputs researchers can check.

Comparable-period trends, spatial-pattern methods, and additional federal sources are separate validation milestones. They should be presented with their actual readiness and source limits.

Prepare a reusable open-source baseline

CloudRaven is preparing a standalone federal-data research starter for community-level projects, programs, and services. The initial scope is a focused Census data pull, source metadata, a reviewable evidence table, and an explicit researcher review step.

The public repository is planned; it is not yet a generally available release. The goal is a small baseline agencies can inspect and adapt, with their own data ownership, permissions, and deployment choices.

For a records-request application, federal data can provide community context. Searching agency records, managing requests, applying retention and redaction rules, and approving release require a separate agency-specific implementation.

Plan the first pilot

Success starts with one complete journey: a defined question, appropriate official data, an understandable result, and evidence colleagues can review. The workshop helps your team decide what that journey should be and what would make a pilot worth continuing.
