TrendSights · Public-sector AI Readiness
A community question. A federal-data baseline. A practical agency pilot.
A facilitated workshop for agency program owners, analysts, IT leaders, and data stewards who want to turn AI interest into a useful research workflow or public service.
Built on CloudRaven's completed 2026 TOP AI Sprint work. Workshop scope and format are agreed during planning.
Leave with a decision your team can act on.
Bring a real project, program, or service challenge. We work through the research, data, and review requirements, then identify whether a bounded pilot is the right next step.
01
Frame the agency use case
Choose one community question, its audience, the relevant geography, and the decision or service the result should support.
02
Explore the federal-data baseline
Walk through a bounded Census research example in TrendSights. Examine dataset fit, source years, uncertainty, and reviewable evidence.
03
Assess readiness together
Identify data owners, access boundaries, staff review, technical capacity, and the resources a small pilot would need.
04
Scope the next application
Define a use-case brief, source inventory, acceptance criteria, and a pilot plan your program and IT teams can review.
Open-source baseline · In preparation
A starting point agencies can inspect, adapt, and build on.
We are preparing a standalone federal-data research starter for community-level projects, programs, and services. The first scope is a bounded Census profile with source metadata, evidence tables, and explicit researcher review.
The public repository is planned. Register your interest below for the workshop or starter; a public release link will be added here when available.
Discuss the starter with CloudRavenFrom research to agency applications
- Community research: define a geography, retrieve a focused official data slice, and prepare evidence colleagues can check and reuse.
- Programs and services: use reviewed community context to shape needs assessments, grant evidence, and service-planning pilots.
- Custom applications: extend the research pattern into agency workflows, such as staff-assisted public records discovery and request handling.
Federal data supplies community context. Records-request applications need agency-owned records, access controls, retention rules, redaction, and staff approval before release.
TrendSights is the research workbench behind this program. Its current beta focuses on bounded Census descriptions; broader methods and agency applications have separate validation milestones.

Tell us about the community question or public service you want to improve. CloudRaven will follow up to discuss fit, participants, workshop format, and a useful first outcome.
One use-case brief
A question, audience, geography, and intended outcome your agency can review together.
A data and review plan
Candidate federal sources, local data requirements, source limits, and the staff who need to review the work.
A bounded pilot path
Acceptance criteria and next steps for a research workflow, program tool, or custom application.
